We are Soap, a four-piece Blues-Rock band based in Cardiff Wales. Jack Monopoli (lead singer and guitarist) and Owain Davies (lead guitar and backing vocals) founded the band while at University in Swansea in 2012 with Harry Watkins (bassist) and Oscar Feiven (drummer and vocalist) joining shortly after in 2013.

 

One year on and Soap had already released 2 E.Ps, their first EP 'Soap' in Feb ’13 and a second 'Marmalade' in May ’13 which helped to establish themselves in the area. On top of this they had played in cities and towns across South Wales and pushed into the UK playing in major cities like Liverpool, Worcester and Oxford.

 

Soap have gone from strength to strength, building a solid fan bass in Swansea and Cardiff after releasing their third and latest EP ‘Sound Junkie’ in May ’14, which was featured in local and online articles and played across a handful of radio stations.

 

After graduating from Swansea University, the band moved to Cardiff and make sure to keep on top of shows and promotion, however, it is here we are looking to take our band to the next step.
